Brevity Coffee Co Lattes

Brevity has been growing with impressive speed here in San Antonio. Over the past few years, they’ve added numerous drive thru shops, opened a brick-and-mortar, and acquired another coffee line. This past week, on August 1st, they celebrated their four-year anniversary! So we thought there was no better time than the present to introduce this coffee stand and share our thoughts on their lattes.

Because one of the Brevity stands is “on the way” to my day job, I often swing in for a latte. As a result, I have tried several drinks on their menu, but nowhere near as many as they offer. Today we want to share the Irish Cream Cold Brew and the Dirty Chai with you!

The Irish Cream Cold Brew is one of Mr. Brew’s favorite coffees from Brevity. It is creamy and sweet, and the cold brew is dense and powerfully caffeinated. The drink is well balanced and provides enough coffee bitterness to balance the sweet Irish cream. 

One of my favorite go-to coffees anywhere is a Dirty Chai. Brevity’s Dirty Chai (2 shots for a medium, 3 for a large is my ratio) is a sweeter variation of this often spicy drink. It is creamy and reminiscent of a snickerdoodle cookie, with only a touch of cardamom spice coating the back of the palate.

In addition to great lattes, Brevity has a ton of flavorings, teas, red bull concoctions, and the happiest staff I have ever met. And, every trip through the drive thru is speedy. I have been by the shop in pouring rain and the baristas still come outside to take my order and send me on my way as soon as I get to the window.
